David H. and Paul H.

When you were born, you cried

And the whole world rejoiced rejoiced.

Live your life, so that when you die,

The whole world cries,

And you rejoice.

Ancient Navajo Blessing

Quoted by Paul H. at David’s memorial in Yosemite.

Hi dear one. Per your request, I attach the Navajo blessings I offered as part of the elder's piece .

Meantime, we are thinking of you...holding you in our prayers. The time in Yosemite was so very healing. I so valued the participatory nature of it all. Somehow the "community" aspects of all the groups came together. People touched one another in new ways. I found myself being able to let go of "David" to acquire "Davidness."

Blessings.... Paul
